What is a private cloud? (Cloud Computing)?

Could someone explain this to me simply please, just the main parts of it.

Advantages and disadvantages if possible.

Its a server in which you pay to use storage space, and its online so its available from what ever computer you would go on. It does have lots of advantages.

Though i dont think paying for cloud storage is that worth it. I mean you are probably better off making your own server with a few TB of storage. As online it costs alot of money for small amount of storage. Like at site above, for 1year of 1TB = $1,319.50



You can easily make your own server for that with a few TB, and then after that you only pay for the power/bandwidth usage of it, but if its your own private server, there wont be much bandwidth usage lol.What is a private cloud? (Cloud Computing)?

On-site private cloud %26amp; Off-site private cloud.



Examples: Eucalyptus, Amazon VPC (Virtual Private Cloud).



Advantages:

It is considered more secured than the public cloud.



Disadvantages:

It is very expensive compared to the public cloud.
