Basically cloud computing is the metaphor of internet computing,you can store your servers,applications on the virtual place called a "cloud".You dont need to maintain your applications or servers as the cloud providers will do it for you.It provides high scalability and less maintenance for your servers.You dont need to own large infrastructure in this as cloud service providers can also provide you with physical infrastructure.
